Architectural research and creativity. Technologically innovative and digital design

Environmental footprint. Impact on the project’s economic and social fabric

Read the regulations and the submission guidelines
THE PLAN REAL ESTATE AWARD is a competition for an award sponsored by THE PLAN.
The subject matter of the contest shall be real estate development projects that have either been completed, are to be completed in the future, currently under construction, or not realized.
Submissions to the contest may be made by self-employed professionals, groups and businesses connected with the realty sector, namely: real estate developers, asset management companies, real estate investors, asset management, general contractors and real estate advisors..

THE PLAN REAL ESTATE AWARD is open to national and international self-employed professionals, groups and companies. Individual candidates, groups and companies may submit one or more projects.
THE PLAN REAL ESTATE AWARD welcomes:

- Interventions completed as of 1 January 2020 (identified as "Completed")
- Ongoing, unrealized or future projects (identified as "Future")

THE PLAN REAL ESTATE AWARD has three categories, specifically:

INVESTMENT AND ASSET MANAGEMENT
• Management, sustainability and valorization of the real estate operation
• Innovative entrepreneurship and industrialization of the process
• Dialogue among players

ESG – ENVIRONMENTAL SOCIAL GOVERNANCE

• Impact on the economic and social context

INNOVATION AND DESIGN

• Technological and digital innovation

For each project/intervention submitted, a subsequent typological specification will also be requested (Residential; Office; Commercial; Hospitality; Mixed use; Masterplanning) in order to proceed to a more balanced and coherent division and evaluation by the Jury.

Each project/intervention may compete in one or more categories.

Each project/intervention may only be entered once for the relevant category. If the same project/intervention is submitted by more than one company belonging to the same working group (e.g. property developer and general contractor), only the first application received in chronological order will be considered valid.

There will be one Completed and one Future winner in each category. The winners will also compete for the title of Overall Winner Completed and one Overall Winner Future. One or more honorable mentions will be awarded if deemed appropriate by the Jury.
The projects/interventions which did not win one of the past editions may compete in the 2023 edition, provided they respect the time constraint indicated in art. 3.

The “Future” projects/interventions that won in one of the past editions may compete in the 2023 edition, as long as they have been completed and are therefore classified as "Completed" and no longer as "Future" (e.g. the 2021/22 winner in "Investment and Asset Management - Future" may compete in 2023 for "Investment and Asset Management - Completed").
Registration is possible from March 1, 2023.
Entry period and material upload from March 1, 2023 to July 21, 2023 (inclusive).
