This volume is a contribution to the design of the habitat and it is inserted in the wake of the instances that characterize the new operating phase of architecture. Rethinking habitat means sinking the roots in a culture ?revolutionary' but that does not deny what preesiste and that focuses nature and man in a complex game of interactions that give life to its material construction, the artifacts. Digital thought, as opposed to conventional thought and the stabilizing force of normality, plays an important role in this context. At the end of the age of certainties begins the era of the global computer space that allows architecture to imagine changing, temporary, self-generating spaces, in accordance with the aspirations of the communities and in harmony with the vital and natural cycles.
