Elite Village Millennium Park - Moskow, Russia

Elite Village Millennium Park is a residential complex in the suburbs of Moscow. It extends over 285 hectares and has 670 cottages in seven areas, each with a distinctive architectural style. This residential village even has five theme parks and the largest residential network of ponds, basins and canals in Russia. This helps give the area character, creating interaction between the built environment and natural elements.
In total, the canals stretch for 7 km and, at times, reach 12 m wide. They are lined by lawns, trees, paved walkways, terraces and rotundas.
Mapei’s involvement in this project was to supply the materials to build the canals and many of the cottages. The terrace waterproofing was done with Mapelastic, the screed used Topcem Pronto and the porcelain stoneware was laid with Adesilex P9. The tiles were then grouted with Ultracolor Plus and the joints sealed using Mapesil AC. Inside the buildings, Mapefer 1K, Mapegrout Tissotropico, Planicrete and Nivoplan Plus were used for the plastering and to repair concrete sections.
