The Hotel Indigo Luofu Mountain is located in Huizhou City's picturesque Luofu Mountain Scenic Area. The tranquil and lovely Luofu Mountain Scenic Area is located on the north side of the project base. Since ancient times, Luofu Mountain has been regarded as a picturesque site for solitude and growth of immortals as a carrier of varied aspects like as mankind, nature, and history. When considering the design of the hotel, the architects promoted that it should be closely related to the local context, and its unique on-site experience will become a strong memory in the new era of universal travel lifestyle. The architectural design pays homage to Luofu Mountain's culture, with the goal of creating an artificial paradise that attracts people with a massive vortex-like allure. The architecture design cooperates with landscape design to poetic destination. Functionally, there are four primary sections: A meeting space, a centralised guest volume with 150 rooms, 20 guest villa volumes, and a range of services. The volume of the public building is placed in the most accessible location, and visitors will be able to get where they want to go quickly and experience the magnificent outdoor views from each area thanks to the efficient circulations connecting each functional block. To provide each room the finest views, the building volumes will be floating and stacked. The design considers the construction challenges on the mountain site as well as the advantages of the topographical attributes with little intervention caused by building operations using industrial light materials. The facade style of the building is inspired by the architectural concept of "a paradise in the cave, a secret location in Luofu," and investigates the spatial method of enclosing mountains and woods with structures and integrating nature into the structure, blurring the boundary between the man-made structure and the natural environment, and highlighting building shape. The design refines the basic qualities of local traditional dwellings, and the construction materials, stone walls, wooden grilles, and other elements are derived from the ground, together with the water and green vegetation on the site. Because the target market is young people, the whole design is influenced by their fashion sense, with modern architectural design language and building, as well as the inclusion of natural elements. The distance difference between virtual and real, as well as the colour contrast between grey and white, contrasts with the surrounding natural mountains, revealing an artificial Luofu dream.
