Elegant Interior-Exterior Dynamics
Nestling in a luxurious patch of greenery in the Romagna countryside, this villa is only one-story high to help it fit seamlessly into the surrounds, a sign of the respect inherent in a project where all aesthetic solutions were carefully weighed to protect the environment and minimize energy consumption. The same common thread runs through the desire to create a natural connection between the interior and exterior through a sizeable terrace that is very much an extension of the living area, reaching into the outside. At the same time, the external layout was thoughtfully planned in relation to the house itself and the adjacent areas. The main rooms in the house look out onto the pool, with a notable corner window for the master bedroom designed specifically to give the owners an expansive view of the garden.
In such a project, the choice of doors and windows was evidently fundamental, especially to create the feel of connection between inside and outside. Edilpiù was responsible for supplying and installing all the doors and windows in the villa, opting for two types: FIN-Project Nova-line (in oak and aluminum) for the main windows; S150 Minimal Sunroom slender aluminum sliding doors for the large, glazed sections facing the main terrace. The transparency of this glass really helps to visually connect the exterior and the interior. At the same time, despite their size, the sliding doors are easy to operate and physically open up the house to the outside.
For the large corner window in the main bedroom, S150 Minimal Sunroom was also used, with the architects and the experts at Edilpiù working closely together, even analyzing the details on a 1:1 scale, to ensure everything was perfect.
