Nordic bathroom design

Luv
By Redazione The Plan -

Cecilie Manz’s Luv bathroom for Duravit was born from the simple image of a bowl on a table. This timeless vision finds modern form in a design with rigorous lines and gentle minimalism. The coating is the matt lacquers and enamels envisaged specifically for this line by the Danish designer. The basins are made of DuraCeram® in three sizes (1,788 m, for a double basin, 1,388 mm for a single and 688 mm for the 60 basin or handrinse basin) and can be coated externally in matt lacquers in White, Grey or Sand to create a pleasing contrast with the brilliant white interior of the basin. The above-counter basins are supported by units with four adjustable feet and softened edges; they are available in matt White, Nordic White, Taupe, Stone grey, Light blue or Night Blue. The console panels come in three colors for the quartz version, with the alternative of solid American walnut. The units have one or two spacious, handle-free drawers with tip-on technology and a self-closing system. The mirrors come in three widths (500 to 1,600 mm) and two heights (800 and 1,200 mm), with dimmers, mirror heating to preventing misting and glare-free LED lighting on the upper edge (up to 700 lux). Luv includes bathtubs, also reminiscent of the bowl, made of matt white DuraSolid A, a pleasingly warm material to the touch. They come in free-standing, back-to-wall and left or right corner versions. For the wall and corner models, an air system is optional, while in all models a Bluetooth sound system can be added.
